Kentucky Mission Trip

This is your opportunity to travel nationally on a mission trip as a family or individual to serve the least of these in Lynch, Kentucky from June 1-6. This trip is for the young and young at heart. See the trip guidelines located on the trip application and found at the link provided below. Please know that all are welcome to apply!
We ask that each participant raise the funds to cover the cost of their trip. We have tentatively calculated the trip cost to be $700/per person, but it is subject to change based on a final calculation by January 12, 2025.
Why are we going? Our goal is to strengthen our host organization's relationship with the local community by doing good deeds which will build goodwill, so that our hosting organization and we can share the VERY Good News of who Jesus is.
What will we be doing on this trip? We will partner with Moridzo Center, Inc, a 22-year-old nonprofit that has strong ties to the local community. Likely we will have two overarching project themes:
- We will be hosting a community fun night at the apartment complex near Solomon's Porch Retreat Center where we will stay.
- Various work projects will bless the ministry and/or their local families. Flexibility will be the key skill you will exercise.
