Farmers to Family Food Box Program Pickup Day

Millions of pounds of produce are being wasted because the "workforce has been significantly impacted by the closure of restaurants, hotels and other food service businesses.” This is causing tremendous pain to farmers. The USDA is helping farmers who have been hurt by the loss of consumers by purchasing $3 billion-in produce to distribute in communities throughout the US. A huge shipment of this produce will be available to the Katy area on Thursday, June 11.
WHY?
The primary goal is to give you an easy and meaningful way to connect with your neighbors, ask them how they are doing and ask how you can pray for them right then. You can do all this by providing a FREE food box to each of your neighbors – those who have a financial need for food first ... then any others you desire. In the box, we will include a flyer about our church and a link to some online resources that offer ways to make mealtimes meaningful.

To get your free box of produce, you must complete the register form - Register Here
WHEN?
You will be responsible for picking up the boxes you order at The Fellowship, Cinco Ranch Campus on Thursday, June 11th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Any boxes NOT picked up by the designated time will be donated to Katy Christian Ministries.
