Kentucky Family Mission Trip

We are headed back for another family mission trip to Lynch, Kentucky during June 10-18, 2022.

Ravaged by the hopelessness of job loss from closed coal mines, drug addiction, and broken families are epidemic. Almost 100% of the children here go hungry regularly in these communities. Our mission will be to work side by side with local missionaries from Meridzo.org, supporting their outreach ministry in these forgotten communities.

This will be our third year to have a family-friendly mission trip to Lynch, Kentucky. We are partnering with Meridzo Ministry to host a four-day kids camp and remodel/rebuild project on a building that will house a new part of Merizdo's ministry.

AGES
The recommended age is first grade or older. Children 8th grade or younger must be accompanied by a parent. Adults and students, 9th grade and up, are welcome to attend as individuals or as families. Students traveling alone must get prior approval from Pastor Joe.

COST
The cost to attend the event is $600 per person (all ages); $50 deposit per person is required.

TRANSPORTATION
Planes, trains and automobiles - it is up to you! All participants are on their own for transportation - it is important to arrive in Lynch no later than Sunday, June12 at 5:00 pm - and leave no earlier than 10:00 am on Friday, June 17.

We are able to accommodate 15 spots - so register early! The deadline to apply is May 1.

This is a great time for a family road trip to Kentucky and sight-see on the way there and back … and to be the hands and feet of Christ to serve others!
