Counseling

You are not alone.

Pastoral Counseling

Pastoral Counseling is intended to offer emotional support and spiritual guidance to individuals and families during difficult seasons of life. If your needs appear to be beyond the scope of pastoral care, you will be referred to trusted local psychiatrists, psychologists, or counselors. We want to make sure that you and your family receive the care you need to find healing and wholeness.

If you would like to set up an appointment or have questions, please contact Pastor Jerry.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Marriage Mentors

Marriage is a special occasion when two lives come together to become one. Though marriage is designed as a gift from God, it is also a journey of refining and growth. Our Marriage Mentors want to be an encouragement and support to you along your marriage journey. Whether it is for marriage preparation, enrichment, or revitalization; our Marriage Mentoring team is here to help.

For more information about being mentored or becoming a mentor, please contact Nakris Adeyinka-Ojo.

ABOUT MARRIAGE MENTORING:

  • Marriage Mentors have been approved and trained by the church.
  • Mentoring happens in confidential, couple-to-couple mentoring sessions.
  • Sessions range anywhere from two - eight sessions, typically 1 – 1 ½ hours in length.
  • Sessions usually occur in the Mentor Couple’s home or another agreed upon location.
  • Marriage Mentors are not counselors, but rather couples who have been on the marriage journey for some time and understand the blessings and challenges marriage can bring. Mentors have seen God do amazing things in their own marriage and can help bring hope and/or healing to yours through biblical encouragement.
  • Topics covered are tailored to your specific situation, but can include encouragement for effective communication, conflict resolution, understanding and responding to different personality types, finances, and more.
  • There is no cost for the program.
