Beyond the Walls.

Jesus' last words on earth to his disciples sanctioned
them to share the good news to those in the immediate area, just beyond, and even the furthest reaches. The Gospel
is Good News for everyone! That is why we believe God has called The Fellowship to share the Good News of
Jesus Christ through word and deed with our neighbors down the street and around the world. We are all on
mission with God, and there are many opportunities 
for which you can pray, share, give, and go on mission
in the coming year.

LOCAL

We want to partner with God to restore the Katy area
to wholeness. We offer various opportunities during
the year to give everyone a chance to get involved.    We consider these serving opportunities to be our "Jerusalem" mission fields. Some opportunities include:

 

• ServeFest - in lieu of church services, we participate
in numerous service projects in our area

• Souper Bowl of Caring - food drive for Katy Christian Ministries (KCM)

• Feed the Hunger Packathon - the most fun you can have in a hairnet by creating meal packets to be distributed in our community and around the world

NATIONAL

The Fellowship looks for unique ways to serve beyond our immediate community to other parts of Texas and the rest of our country. We consider these national serving opportunities to be our "Judea and Samaria" mission fields. Opportunities include:

 

• Kentucky Family Mission Trip - show love to impoverished coal-mining communities through various service projects

Lead the Cause - student disciples reaching their

world with the Gospel

GLOBAL

God's heart is for the nations, so our heart is for the nations. We have partnerships and ongoing initiatives around the globe. We consider these countries our "ends of the earth" mission fields. Some opportunities include:

 

• Vitoria, Brazil - facilitate a summer-style camp for kids that have been abandoned to the streets and slums of Brazil

• Mozambique - build a bridge to share God's love
by helping locals improve their English

• Southeast Asia - teach Godly character through a basketball camp for young adults and member care
for team members

ORPHAN CARE

The Fellowship is passionate about caring for orphans. Our efforts help support orphan prevention as well as caring for orphans through adoption or sponsorship. Opportunities include:

 

Compassion International - holistic care (spiritual, social, emotional, and economical) to end poverty through child sponsorship

Caring for Korah - advocating for children in the Ethiopian community of Korah to break the cycle of poverty
